THIS IS AN APPEAL TO ALL AMERICANS ........


This program is a text only version of a more complex program
which we are circulating called THE GREAT AMERICAN PETITION
PROGRAM.  The purpose of this program is to allow each and
every American citizen to become involved with starting a
REAL DEMOCRACY IN AMERICA.

Democracy is defined as the ability of the average citizen to
vote on issues effecting his government.  In a Representative
Democracy, such as we are forced to suffer here in the United
States, voting directly on the issues is not tolerated, therefore,
there is no Real Democracy in America at the present time.
Contrary to what the politicians will tell you, in this country,
we are forced to live in a Republic.  It was modeled after what
a group of English immigrants thought a government should look
like.  Each one of the founding fathers of this country owned
slaves, half of the states from which they came, and they greatly
feared the average or common man.  Yet, they were able to grant to
posterity a modicum of Freedom and Liberty because they were
influenced by two of the greatest men who ever lived, Benjamin
Franklin, a printer, and Thomas Jefferson, a scientist, a farmer,
a philosopher.

From these humble beginnings we have evolved into the greatest
nation on Earth solely because we have never rested on our laurels.
Americans always want to improve, to advance, to make things
better for their children than things were for them.  This is
 what it is to be American and this is why we appeal now to all
Americans to give their country the measure of devotion and
sacrifice equal to what the founding fathers gave so that we may
have a new nation conceived in the final promise of democracy, a
Real Democracy in which all the people can vote to create the laws
that they themselves must endure.  No longer is it necessary for any
community of people to be slaves to the ideas of a few or of a
minority.  We now have the ability to know what each of us wants
to do about any given situation anywhere in the world.  Let's use
this great wisdom and knowledge to lead the world in the most
beneficent kind of government there is, a government 'Of the people,
by the people and for the people'.  This is what we offer you now.

By printing out the Petition on the next page of this program,
having your neighbors and associates sign it and then sending it
to us, we will begin the first step toward real democracy.  This
organization will tally the numbers of signed peitions, make copies
and circulate them to all appropriate members of our government.
We will also let the media know how the MAJORITY OF AMERICANS HAS
CAST THEIR VOTES BY SIGNING THESE PEITIONS.  Then we will compare
what they do in Congress with the signed petitions of Americans
like you.  When those in Washington, sworn to represent us, stray
from the path that we know to be the MAJORITY OPINION, we will let
you know who they are and how to get rid of them in the next election.

WE CAN EFFECTIVELY CLOSE THIS GOVERNMENT DOWN - until they let this
new one rise up out of the ashes.  This is what we MUST DO.  There
is no longer any time for philosphisizing or campaigning.  It is now
time to take the action necessary to get our country back before it
is gone forever.

Bill Clinton is a typical example of a professional politician.
He won the election, stole it, you might say, by promising that
he would lower income taxes.  Instead, in the first 100 days of his
presidency, he raises them.  This is sad only because the rest of
us sit here and accept this as 'normal'. Let me tell you that this
kind of behavior is normal in American politics, but that doesn't
mean we have to live with it forever!

AND THIS ORGANIZATION is dedicated to the proposition that we are
all equal under the law.  Each American citizen should have the
same power as any other.  When we are all given ONE VOTE and that
VOTE COUNTS FOR OR AGAINST ANY ISSUE, THEN AND ONLY THEN ARE WE
EQUAL IN GOVERNING OURSELVES.  Right now, we are governed by special
interest groups.  Even foreign corporations have more power and say
in government than you or me.  Why?  Because Washington is run by the
Almighty dollar.  The vote of each and every Senator and Congressman
is up for sale each and every day.  If you have enough money, you can
create any law you wish or veto any law that comes along.

When people are given the right to vote on the NATIONAL ISSUES, THIS
WILL DISAPPEAR.  How can we get this right to vote on the National
Issues?  We begin by working on Petitions.  Show the government that
you are not apathetic and that you care enough about certain issues
to get off your couch and go talk to your neighbors and collect their
signatures.

You'll be surprised at how happy they will be to see you.  Each and
every one of us is silently waiting for someone to pick up the torch,
to lead the way to more Freedom and equality.  You can be the first
on your block to light this way for the others.  You will find it so
rewarding and enjoyable to own your country again, that your
enthusiasm will become more contagious than any disease.  Let it
begin with you.

Please print out this first of our petitions.  There will be others.
Look for them.  Get your friends to sign them and then send them back
to us, try ot collect a token investment from your signators of ten
cents, fifty cents or a dollar each and forward that money along with
the Petitions so that we can have the power to make it all happen for
you and your children.
